For months on end I have been arguing with friends and foes alike about The Blueprint 3′s likelihood of becoming an Instant Classic. One of the arguments that we always comes up is about the amount of featuring artists on the LP. I think the featured artists are a plus and that it is the reason for its potential "classicity" (I know it’s not a word), he thinks it is going to make the album worthless.
Upon listening to the track: I don’t think it was that good. I think Jay’s ideas, concepts and direction was wonderful. He stays on point. However, Drake is only ad-libbing and singing a terrible hook.
